1.0 Demotion Procedures

1.1 The Chancellor may recommend to the Board that a management employee be demoted to a management position of lower classification without recruiting further for the vacant position.

1.2 Management employees not in agreement with such a recommendation may implement procedures outlined in Administrative Regulation, (R-9321).

1.3 Demotion shall be considered disciplinary action and shall be subject to policies and regulations concerning employee discipline.
