The Refugee Career Pathways Program invites you to participate in this free course on CPR and Pediatric First Aid (HEED 311, 1.5 units).
This course meets the requirements for American Red Cross certification in California Child Care Health and Safety Training, which includes adult, child, and infant CPR, and pediatric first aid. It also includes legal considerations, avoiding disease transmission, responding to sudden illnesses and injuries, and recognition of common childhood diseases.
This workshop is free for all individuals who have been in the US for less than five years and have a status of Refugee, Asylee, or SIV. Please complete this interest form and Refugee Career Pathways will reach out to you about steps to register for the class.
