Student Advisory Committee

The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is comprised of student leaders from each of the colleges' student senate (typically the Student Senate president) and chaired by the student trustee, who is elected by registered students of the four Los Rios colleges. The SAC meets each month, before each regularly scheduled board of trustees meeting, to address issues that affect students. It provides a forum for communication/exchange of ideas, information, and concerns among students.

One key responsibility of SAC is to ensure students participate in district/college governance, and that students have a voice in the development of policies and processes that have a significant effect on students.
