Join us to explore the prevalence of internet and gaming addiction in our culture that increasingly relies on technology in all areas of our lives. We will share recent research around this growing disorder as well as how apps and video games are built to keep us hooked. Learn how to identify risk behaviors and limit addictive use patterns. We will also be sharing information on a group we will be starting around this issue specifically to support students.
This event is brought to you by the American River College Mental Health and Wellness Team and is open to all Los Rios campus students, faculty, and staff. There is no registration required.
