Red, yellow and green stripes on a black background, outline of Africa, and the words Black History Month

CRC Professors Alex Peshkoff (History), Dr. Winnie Hung (Ethnic Studies), and Dr. Nym George (Sociology) come together in this informative lecture about the relationship between Black Love and resistance movements. Through critical interrogation of historical Black resistance movements, this session will use the concept of Black Love to challenge participants to contemplate how love of self and love of community can move groups of people to create change "by any means necessary."

All Los Rios students, staff, and faculty are invited.
